Aydın from Pamukkale
Aydın Province — 200 km west of Pamukkale — gives access to some of Turkey's most famous ancient ruins. A full day allows you to visit 1-2 sites comfortably; 2-3 days if you want to see more.
- Ephesus — the most visited ancient city of Turkey (200 km, 2.5 h drive). UNESCO.
- Kuşadası — Aegean port town, marina, beaches. Famous Ladies' Beach (215 km).
- Didim & Temple of Apollo — monumental Hellenistic temple, 260 km. Coastal.
- Priene & Miletus — lesser-visited but beautifully preserved Ionian cities, 240 km.
Logistics: Rental car is the best option. Hotel reception can arrange a day-rate driver too. A single day gives you Ephesus + coast; a second day covers Priene/Miletus/Didim.
