Kaklık Cave — 'Underground Pamukkale' Travertine Cave
Kaklık Cave
Often called the 'Underground Pamukkale', Kaklık Cave is a natural limestone cave whose interior has travertine formations, stalactites, stalagmites and small thermal pools — a miniature version of the famous terraces, indoors.
How to get there: 45 km from Sinter Terasse Hotel, about 50 min drive. A half-day excursion, often combined with a visit to Honaz or Akhan.
Practical tips: Wooden walkways inside; good for children and older visitors. Allow 30–45 min inside. Thermal water; test before touching. Light jacket handy year-round — the cave stays 20–22°C.
